2018 Newcomers’ Event

On April 17, 2018, we had an event to welcome members who recently joined our club.

Special thank yous to Recording Sec. Janet S. and her husband for hosting this event at their home and the mimosas. All of the officers and many of the chairmen attended and provided the snacks and floral designs. Thank you everyone and especially to Special Events co-chairman Peggy C. who provided cheese, cream puffs, and her homemade egg salad sandwiches but was not able to attend.

The new members had a great time and President Bonnie B. introduced our new members, officers, and chairmen who were at the event. The new members learned about our club and what we do for the community.

Newcomers' Events

2015 Newcomers’ Social

On Feb. 13th, we had our newcomers’ social for garden club members who recently joined our club. Thank you to Marie H. for having the event at her home.

Members who are chairman/officers welcomed the new members and informed them of the many projects our club is involved in including small bedside floral arrangements/small plants that are donated monthly by members to hospice patients, our annual scholarship fundraiser crazy card party and luncheon, and weekly floral arrangements/plants that members loan for display at the Windermere Branch Library.

2014 Newcomers’ Event-March 14th

On Friday, March 14th, at the home of Marie H. our club had a newcomers’ event for all the new members who have recently joined our club. The officers and several of our committee chairmen provided the refreshments for the event. Thank you to everyone and especially our hostess Marie H. for allowing us to use her beautiful home.
