On Thursday, May 9th at Orange Tree Golf Club we had an 2019-2021 Officers’ Installation Luncheon.
At the short business meeting, Outgoing President Bonnie Baum informed everyone that our club won 1st place at both Florida Federation of Garden Club and at Deep South for our annual Arbor Day presentation featuring a presentation by the Windermere Union Church Preschool. With board approval, Bonnie presented 18 years member and current long time University/College Scholarship Chairman Jocelyn Deprez with a Windermere GC lifetime membership.

After a short business meeting, our new District VII Director Gwen Carter installed our club’s 2019-2021 officers. Thank you to Gwen for the inspiring installation and a thank you to our new and continuing officers for volunteering!

After the installation, we had a wonderful lunch which included beef soup, quiche, fruit, green salad, and cake which was arranged by Special Events Chairmen Peggy C. and Jackie R. Thank you, ladies.

Nehrling Garden sold some caladium plants and bulb(s) at the luncheon and donated one of the plant/bulb(s) to the Outgoing President Bonnie B. and one to Incoming President Vicki H. in recognition our club’s support of Nehrling Gardens from early days of their organization until now.
