At the last minute, our planned program to have a tour of Nehrling Gardens had to be canceled. Thank you to our own Vicki Hearst for agreeing to being our speaker! She did a wonderful program on creating long lasting color bowl plantings. She had many helpful hints on the containers to use including harder plastics and other lighter weight containers which you can paint. Also to be sure to have plants that require the same amount of light in one container.

Vicki demonstrated that by just adding a sign, plastic Easter eggs, and a stuffed rabbit, we can make a color bowl into an Easter themed container planting.
Our next general meeting will be on March 7th, there will be a board meeting at 8:30am, informal coffee at 9:30am and a business meeting at 10am which will include last minute Crazy Card Party and Luncheon (CCP) Fundraiser arrangements.
