On Thursday, Jan. 17th, just outside of Windermere Town Hall, we had our annual Florida Arbor Day tree planting. It featured a program by the students of Windermere Union Church Preschool and a tree climbing demo by Legends formerly Geezers in the Treezers. We planted a magnolia tree. After the event, cookies and juice were served to the preschool children and their family and friends in attendance. The refreshments were donated and served by garden club members. Thank you to the members.
