On Thursday, Oct. 13th at Windermere Town Hall, we had general meeting with an informal coffee and “white elephant” sale.
Our hostesses were Peggy C. and Diana L. They did a great job with our informal coffee. The halloween themed decor and food was wonderful. Thank you.

A newer member Dayle B. held the “white elephant” sale which was great. Thank you.
Our speaker was Member Vicki Hearst. She spoke on using plant material from our own yard and our neighbors after asking permission. They will like the free trimming of their landscapes. Some of her great hints included making sure to wash and soak any plant material to prevent disease and pest spread. To make small arrangements and use everyday items for vases like fancy soap dishes and ceramic toothbrush holders etc… When using bromeliads in arrangement do not get them wet as they will rot. Wonderful hints and thank you.
