Tour of Mary & Joe Parinella’s Garden

WGC Garden Club member, Angela Withers, has coordinated with landscape arthitect, Joe Parinella and his wife, Mary for Windermere Garden Club members and their guests to tour their garden.  In her email dated October 16, 2011, Angela requested that we post this information on our website:

Date & Time: Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM

Location: The home of landscape architect Joe Parinella and his wife, Mary.   Mary will be leading the tour.

Address:  8619 Wythmore Lane, Orlando, FL 32835 (call me on my cell phone if you get lost! – 407-375-4856)

Directions: Travelling east from Windermere on Conroy-Windermere Road, cross Apopka Vineland Road, proceed past the Albertson’s shopping plaza and turn left into Windermere Wylde subdivision (the first subdivision past the shopping plaza, just past the Chain of Lakes Middle School entrance). Make a left at the T intersection at Lansmere Lane and follow the curving street to another T intersection at Wythmere Lane. The driveway into Mary’s house is almost immediately in front of you, just a little to the right.

2011 Flower Show

2011-2012 Website Updated

Thank you for your patience with us in getting the 2011-2012 website updated.  We were a little behind this year.  If you find any changes that have been inadvertently overlooked, please bring it to the attention of your Webmaster.

You can notify the Webmaster by:

  • posting a comment located below each page stating the error; or
  • sending us an email with a note explaining the discrepancy (

Please note that telling the Webmaster at the meetings is not sufficient; using one of the methods mentioned is much faster and more efficient.

Also, please note there is a Menu item at the top of every page entitled “References/Resources” which has links to various websites that reference gardening, our speakers, Nehrling Gardens, and any other resources we may find helpful in beautifying our communities and personal gardens.
