Several WGC members met at Biosphere Consulting, Inc. in Winter Garden for a guided tour of the nursery by Jim Thomas. Jim’s nursery sells plants native to Central Florida as well as ornamentals that are more conducive to our environment. The nursery is dedicated to “bioscaping,” a term coined by Biosphere, and is defined as “landscaping to improve habitat, conserve water, decrease maintenance and use of fertilizer, pesticides and other chemicals.”
